In the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 social apps on Android in Ukraine demonstrated varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared during this period.

TikTok experienced notable fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at around $281K in the week of May 20 and reaching a low of $138K in mid-June. Weekly downloads for the app also varied, starting at approximately 80K in early April and ending at around 55K in late June. The number of weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 5M throughout the quarter.

Tango- Live Stream, Video Chat experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 9K in early June. Weekly revenue also saw an upward trend, reaching about $4.6K in late May. Active users increased from 44K in early April to around 53K by mid-June, before dropping to 49K at the end of the quarter.

VK: music, video, messenger showed a mixed performance. Weekly downloads started at about 9K in early April but saw a sharp decline to zero by the end of May. Revenue followed a similar pattern, peaking at $5K in late April and dropping to zero by the end of May. Active users decreased from 715K in early April to about 609K by the end of June.
